Being 10 weeks from my due date, I seem to have a heightened awareness to several things. The first, is clutter. The second, offensive smells. And the third? Baby announcements. When I receive one in the mail, I'm suddenly paying attention to things like font type, size, and photo quality. So when Allison over at Photo Card Creations asked me to do a review on her cards, I knew I was in the right headspace.
Allison creates beautiful custom photo cards, announcements and invitations. She specializes in wedding, baby and holiday cards that let you choose all those fun details that make your card stand out. This is what I especially loved about Photo Card Creations - they offer hundreds of card designs and paper types, and you work directly with a graphic artist to customize that style. That's what makes them so unique!
My favorites are those printed on Matte Paper or Cardstock. These really gave a custom look and feel to the cards. Somehow, the glossy ones reminded me more of what everyone else is doing through generic sites like Costco and Snapfish (although Allison's have much trendier layouts!). The photo quality seemed to be much clearer on the Matte cards. My favorite among these were the Panel Inset card and the very unique Hand-Torn Edge. I was especially impressed by the quality of color on the Photo Card Creations cards, such as this card:
And of course, after you pick among dozens of layouts you get to control the details, such as whether the card is printed on Glossy, Semi Glossy, White Linen, White Matte, Cream Linen, Pearl, Watercolor, or with Hand-Torn Edge.
So now you can have the problem of having so many great and truly beautiful options that you become totally indecisive! I'm hoping I'll be better geared up for making those types of decisions after the baby is born!

My favorite design is the Triple the Fun save-the-date card! We are in the midst of planning our wedding on a budget, and winning this would be a lifesaver!
These designs are beautiful! The Triple the Fun card is my favorite. Winning this would be great for me because I'm expecting my 4th child soon and I doubt I'll have time to design my own announcements this time around!
